Dear reader,
I am honored to receive the Trainee Professional Development Award (TDPA) from the Society for Neuroscience to attend professional development training events and present a poster at the 2024 Society for Neuroscience Conference in Chicago, Illinois. It was an amazing experience talking to the leaders in the neuroscience field and meeting other TDPA recipients. I learned a lot about communication and community, both of which contribute to better science.
